Position: Deputy Head of Department - Real Estate
Salary: £70,000 +
Location: Leeds and surrounding areas
Hours: Full Time - Hybrid Working

Responsibilities:
- Oversee a caseload of high value real estate property transactions, demonstrating expertise and efficiency.
- Support the Head of Department and assist with managerial duties
- Mentoring junior members of staff, including monthly check-ins and and annual performance reviews
- Organising and leading team meetings
- Managing team holiday requests and and team scheduling
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients, ensuring their interests are safeguarded throughout the process.
- Ensure compliance with firm standards
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, developers, and industry professionals to facilitate smooth transactions.
- Actively contribute to the firm's business development initiatives and participate in networking activities to expand our client base.
- Assist with budget planning and marketing strategies
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a proven track record in real estate law
- A minimum of 7PQE
- Strong background in handling high value commercial property transactions
- Networking, marketing and business development experience
- Leadership experience
- Compliance knowledge
- Strategic thinker: experience in business planning, marketing and departmental development
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, coupled with a keen analytical mindset.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
