Head of Motor Claims

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to join our client's team as Head of Claims. This pivotal role will involve leading and overseeing claims operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional services. Suitable candidates may come from Insurance

Claims Management or Automotive Claims Management. Excellent range of company benefits.

Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the motor claims department
  • Lead a team of claims managers and adjusters, fostering a high-performance culture

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the claims department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

  • Develop and implement systems and processes to enhance claims processing and management

  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional service to clients and stakeholders

  • Monitor and evaluate service performance, implementing improvements where necessary

  • Prepare and present regular management information reports

  • Utilise data analytics to identify trends to drive continuous improvement

  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, partners, and stakeholders to ensure optimal service delivery

  • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with suppliers and partners

Requirements:

    • Management experience from motor claims essential
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills

  • Strong commercial business knowledge and acumen

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders

  • A degree in Business Management or a related field ideal
