About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Parts Adviser on behalf of a well-established car dealership based in Erdington, Birmingham. This is a temporary position for one month, offering a competitive hourly rate of £11.44. The successful candidate will work from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with the requirement to work 1 in 4 weekends.
Job Description:
The Parts Adviser will be responsible for ensuring customers receive excellent service in identifying and sourcing car parts and accessories. Key duties include:
- Assisting customers with parts inquiries and providing expert advice.
- Processing orders and managing inventory.
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Maintaining accurate records of parts transactions.
- Ensuring the parts department is organized and efficient.
- Delivering outstanding customer service at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Responding to customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
- Advising customers on parts compatibility and installation.
- Checking stock availability and ordering parts as necessary.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Parts Adviser or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of car parts and accessories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using parts catalogues and inventory management systems.
- Experience using Kerridge software package
