Your new role
In your new role as a 'Procurement Manager', you will be a hands-on procurement professional getting involved with all aspects of the end -to-end procurement process. From contract negotiations with new and existing suppliers, cost-saving, liaising with stakeholders, tendering suppliers to professional services and maintenance of the site equipment. Your role will also entail the ability to lead development of an integrated procurement strategy across the business, including supporting the finance team with implementation of centralised stores and inventory management. The system you will be working on is called, 'Focal Point' (experience in this system would be beneficial).

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 3 years Procurement experience.
  • CIPS level 4.
  • Can-do, hands-on approach to work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate about procurement matters having both specialist and non-specialist knowledge.
  • Strong communication and ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent & proven negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A full driving licence and their own transport (as the site is in a rural area). 3 days a week on site.
