Salary: £35k - £50k
We are working with an SME Logistics organisation that require an experienced Accountant with Xero experience to manage the accounts' function.
You will be responsible for processing invoices, payments, expenses, bank reconciliations, VAT returns, and other financial transactions using Xero online accounting software. You will also assist with preparing reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices, payments, expenses, and other transactions
Prepare and file VAT returns online
Manage customer and supplier records and accounts
Generate and send quotes, purchase orders, and online invoices
Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end accounts
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Respond to queries and requests from customers, suppliers, auditors, and other parties
Update and report to the Managing Director
