Recruitment Manager - 2 days per week in Central London office

Salary: £45,000 - £52,500 + OTE: £22,500 - £30,000

This role is integral to the delivery and growth of the Recruitment Team. Reporting to the Head of Recruitment, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Recruitment Team and its budget achievement. You will maintain a balance between billing (10k per month) and team management with your ultimate focus being the achievement of the Recruitment Teams financial and strategic goals.

The Recruitment division is currently 10 heads and growing, generating fee income through contingent (perm & contract) as well as via Skills Bootcamps (funded hiring) and Apprenticeships product lines. Alongside traditional contingent (fee income) junior, mid and senior level IT / Software & Data hiring.

This role would suit a sales orientated Billing Leader. Someone that still enjoys the day to day of recruitment and billing but is now looking to further develop their career as a future Senior Leader.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving the combined Gross Profit (Perm, Contract, Skills Bootcamps & Apps) for the Recruitment Division
  • Works with Head of Recruitment in setting objectives in line with team and wider business goals and ensures they are delivered
  • Ongoing marketing and communication strategy to existing clients - engage over 300 live clients and 200 lapsed to support Recruitment and Bootcamps delivering their budgets
  • Overall responsibility for the continuous development and execution of the sales and strategy for the business internally, including client acquisition, market segmentation and client commercial relationships
  • Ensure self and team take a strategic approach to account management, capitalising on existing client relationships and in addition to transforming failing accounts
  • Manage a team creating a clear team identity and motivating, inspiring and coaching them, to achieve high performance individually and collectively through creating and monitoring personal development plans and business plan as well as managing performance levels via effective 121's in line with company expectations

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in staffing and recruiting at management level
  • You will have a proven and sustained track record of achieving targets both as a Leader and also as a biller
  • Leads on initiatives and operates with minimum instruction
  • Ability to influence others for benefit of the business
  • Manages colleagues in achievement of their own personal goals
  • Manages a balance of strategic objectives and team focus
  • Reacts to challenges and opportunities through planned communication
  • Drives budget performance by engaging with people and business planning
  • Always puts others first ahead of their own self interest
