Maintenance Engineer - £40,000 per annum
?? Location: Basingstoke
?? Hours: 2 weekly rotation
6am - 2.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 6am - 1.30pm Friday
9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 9am - 4.30pm Friday

Are you an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new opportunity with a stable, forward-thinking company? We're looking for a skilled and proactive individual to join our team to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of our plant, equipment, and facilities.
What You'll Be Doing:
As a key part of our Engineering team, you will:
- Respond to electrical, mechanical, and building-related issues swiftly and effectively
- Perform safety testing and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Start up and shut down processing plant and equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with company and industry standards (ISO 9001/14001)
- Use appropriate PPE and follow all health & safety protocols
- Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organised
- Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations
What We're Looking For:
We're open to applicants with varying levels of experience - we'll provide training where needed. Ideally, you'll have:
- Previous Production Maintenance experience encompassing both Mechanical and Electrical knowledge (Electrical bias required)
- Familiarity with engineering processes, systems, and HSE regulations
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions
- Skilled in using tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- A team player mindset with clear communication skills
- A focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
