Are you an experienced Field Electro-Mechanical Support Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a reputable engineering organisation, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. As a Field Electro-Mechanical Support Engineer, you will have the chance to travel, providing manufacturing, commissioning, investigation, maintenance, and repair support for a range of products.
Hours: 8am Till 5pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Salary: £40,000 p/a
What you'll be doing:
- Building, testing, and releasing ground support equipment to approved standards.
- Travelling to customer sites to provide fault finding and repair services.
- Conducting commissioning of equipment at customer locations.
- Providing training for the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Liaising with designers to ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings.
- Collaborating closely with the production coordinator and buying department.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimise errors.
- Adhering to health and safety procedures.
What we're looking for:
- Good mechanical fitting experience.
- Qualified electrician preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong numerical and literacy skills.
- Reliable and trustworthy with a flexible attitude.
- Adaptable and resilient problem-solving approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team or unsupervised.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and worldwide.
