Field Electro-Mechanical Support Engineer

Are you an experienced Field Electro-Mechanical Support Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a reputable engineering organisation, is seeking a talented individual to join their team. As a Field Electro-Mechanical Support Engineer, you will have the chance to travel, providing manufacturing, commissioning, investigation, maintenance, and repair support for a range of products.

Hours: 8am Till 5pm

Days: Monday to Friday

Salary: £40,000 p/a

What you'll be doing:

  • Building, testing, and releasing ground support equipment to approved standards.
  • Travelling to customer sites to provide fault finding and repair services.
  • Conducting commissioning of equipment at customer locations.
  • Providing training for the operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Liaising with designers to ensure accurate interpretation of technical drawings.
  • Collaborating closely with the production coordinator and buying department.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimise errors.
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures.

What we're looking for:

  • Good mechanical fitting experience.
  • Qualified electrician preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong numerical and literacy skills.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a flexible attitude.
  • Adaptable and resilient problem-solving approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a team or unsupervised.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and worldwide.
