The Role
As the Data Platform Team Lead you will oversee the team responsible for ensuring high quality data is sourced and curated on their Azure Cloud platform. Key responsibilities include:
- Leverage technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Delta Lake and Python to develop and implement data ingestion solutions
- Guide and support a team of data engineers
- Ensure data quality, security and compliance best practise
- Champion and implement DataOps practises to streamline and automate the data lifecycle
- Work closely with cross functional teams

- Demonstrable leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of cloud services preferably the Fabric or Databricks suite of products
- Commercially driven
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment, with a focus on detail and accuracy and have a keenness to problem solve
