Facilities Assistant

Reed Oxford are delighted to be partnering with a client in Central Oxford for the recruitment of an Facilities Assistant to support with the smooth running of facilities functions across the Oxford office.

This is a multifaceted and busy role and will be ideal for someone with recent office administration, facilities, and front facing customer service experience.

Responsibilities in brief include:

  • Acting as first point of contact for any facilities and health and safety issues
  • Liasing with contractors
  • Welcoming visitors
  • Carry out inspections and report maintenance issues to building manager
  • Setting up of meeting rooms, ensuring equipment is set up and organising catering
  • Monitoring office and kitchen supplies, ensuring stock is updated and maintained
  • Support with the onboarding of new starters, ensuring they have all equipment ready for their first day

This is an office-based role 09:00-17:00hrs Monday-Friday and is suited to a dynamic individual eager to support with the smooth operation of their office facilities and administration. It is suited to someone that has had previous experience in a similar role/setting, alongside someone that is comfortable with supporting several areas of the business.

The salary for this vacancy is up to £26,000 per annum subject to experience.
