Junior Data Analyst

A passionate junior Data Analyst with data analysis experience is needed to join our team at Texere Publishing, a leading publisher in the life science and medical field based in Cheshire on a full-time, hybrid working basis.

The primary role of the Junior Data Analyst is to provide clients with audience intelligence and insights, which will include business-critical reports and analysis.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work two days a week from our office in Knutsford, Cheshire, and three days from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide regular and timely reports
  • Gather data from multiple sources and maintain databases/reports up to date
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and "clean" data by reviewing user behaviour
  • Work with management to prioritise business and information needs
  • Producing lead reports monthly from different sources
  • Maintain the master reporting database, including inputting individual email results
  • Continuous monitoring & breakdown of figures to understand where list growth and degradation are coming from
  • Creation and maintenance of Texere 'overall average' metrics with up-to-date stats available for review
  • Annual brand averages and by month & quarter for the following products
  • Basic knowledge of HTML to build Emails (newsletter / eBlast) and Web traffic (impressions etc.)
  • Monthly web reports on content, including visits, clicks, and bounce rates
  • Reports for individual projects - weekly / monthly / ad-hoc
  • Plan-in reporting as each part of a project goes live and share the schedule with client / sales

Required Experience:

  • Educated to a degree or equivalent is essential
  • Experience in data analysis is essential
  • Experience with Data Visualization software (Looker Studio, Tableau)

Required Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking and data visualisation
  • Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Google AdManager, Email Service Provider
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment is essential
  • The ability to translate raw data into functional and understandable metrics and requirements for internal and external stakeholders
