What does the role involve?

  • Expertise and Passion for Dyson: Demonstrating a genuine passion for Dyson technology and exhibiting a thorough mastery of the brand and its product range.
  • Customer Engagement and Product Demonstration: Leading by example on the shop floor by actively approaching customers in-store, tailoring Dyson product demonstrations to meet their individual needs, and effectively guiding them through product options and upgrades.
  • Store Operations Accountability: Holding key responsibility for the seamless operation of the store, including the tasks of opening and closing the store as required.
  • Leadership on the Shop Floor: Taking charge of the shop floor team's performance and providing leadership when managing shifts.
  • Customer Safety and Satisfaction: Ensuring a secure and pleasant shopping environment for our valued customers.
  • Visual Merchandising Excellence: Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of Dyson machines and displays to make them visually appealing and easily shoppable, adhering to the highest standards throughout the day.
  • Sharing Best Practices: Actively sharing best practice demonstrations to enhance and reinforce the overall behaviours of the shop floor team.
  • Team Collaboration and Relationship Building: Actively cultivating relationships with the team and collaborating with support channels to contribute to the continued success of the Dyson Concession.
  • Sales and Performance Targets: Consistently achieving and surpassing sales, demonstration, and key performance indicator (KPI) targets.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Overseeing the reporting of daily results via a dedicated platform.
  • Accountability and Compliance: Taking full accountability for the store, the team, and ensuring strict compliance with company standards during your shifts.
  • Mentorship and Development: Offering guidance and mentorship to new team members and actively contributing to their professional development.
