Description
- Lead and manage a small team of Company Accountants
- Oversee financial compliance and risk management
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff
- Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
- Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict future trends
- Develop financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk
- Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
- Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA or similar
- Proven experience in a finance team leader role
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in use of finance software
