As Client & Market Development Senior Manager - Private Equity, you will collaborate closely with senior partners and the wider Client and Market Development team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Implementation:
- Support and execute the PE strategy, aligning it with the firm's overall strategy.
- Collaborate closely with PE partners, the Chief Client Officer, relevant partners, associates, and CMD/BCM professionals to implement PE action plans.
- Ensure cross-practice, cross-sector, and cross-functional alignment to achieve proper coverage and effective strategy execution.
- Regularly report on progress against the plan and refine the approach accordingly.
Client and Market Development:
- Act as the go-to expert on the Firm's expertise in Private Equity, utilising comprehensive knowledge of internal databases and quarterly performance metrics.
- Coordinate high-profile market-facing initiatives sponsored by the firm.
- Lead on the delivery of core transactional business development and marketing activities – managing a well regarded team
- Track the effectiveness of business development initiatives and fine-tune strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in business development, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment with a focus on private equity.
- Strong understanding of the private equity market, key players, and regulatory landscape.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies and initiatives.
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong technical proficiency and familiarity with relevant tools.
