Data Business Analyst

£450/day (Inside IR35)

I am currently looking for a Data Business Analyst for one of my insurance clients. They are lookingfor a BA with focus on Data Analysis and Reporting (Excel Power User, Power BI/Tableau), They require individuals with wide Insurance experience especially across Operations and Finance. They would also most likely need to have some London market MGA/Broker experience and would need to be data focused (i.e. a Data BA).
Qualifications (Data Business Analyst)
- SQL: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data.
- Excel: Advanced skills in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
- Data Visualization Tools: Experience with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to create interactive and insightful dashboards.
- Data Modelling: Understanding of logical and physical data models that meet business needs
- Databases: Understanding of Relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL for managing and analysing large datasets.
- Programming Languages: Basic knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Insurance Data Systems: Familiarity with insurance-specific data systems and platforms used within the Lloyd's Market. (i.e. Eclipse, Genius or other Policy Admin systems etc)
