My clients a global freight forwarder, seeking an experienced Operations clerk to join their busy team in the Heathrow area.
Duties would include:
- Handling road and ocean freight operations
- Manifest daily export trailers
- LCL/ FLC shipments
- Sending pre-advice
- Discharging T1's
- Monitoring shipments start-finish
- Chasing and processing POD's
- Transport planning for same day collections
- Liaising with hauliers to provided quotations for special collections/ deliveries
- Updating customers
- Invoicing
- General admin/ data entry
Skills required:
- Experience handling road/ ocean freight
- Import and export customs entries experience
- Ability to work well under pressure
- PC literate
- Good customer service skills
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
