Senior Network Analyst/ CCNP

£45,000 - £48,000 + Outstanding pension scheme
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Network Analyst who will be responsible for analysing and diagnosing complex technical problems with existing systems.
As Senior Network Analyst you will be experienced and have relevant professional qualifications. You will have a deep understanding of networks, Cisco hardware and software in particular, equipment and a good understanding of Microsoft Teams. You will have strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, while remaining calm and professional!
Senior Network Analyst Your responsibilities in this role will also include but not limited to:
- To act as SME to the organisation for IP connectivity, networking, and associated technologies.
- To act as technical lead for acceptance of new systems/applications from the Solutions team to be transitioned into BAU in a manageable, supportable package, ensuring acceptance criteria are met.
- To identify new systems, and ways of working to improve efficiency, reduce cost and risk.
- Act as technical escalation point within network & telecoms for major incidents, liaising with 3rd party support partners, IT Solutions, and RNLI personnel at remote sites/lifeboat stations, as appropriate.
To be considered as Senior Network Analyst you will have:
- CISCO certifications
- Experience working in LAN, WAN, Wireless environments
- Firewall management and configuration experience
- experience of working in ITIL process driven environment.
- Cisco based SDWAN, MPLS, site to site and remote access VPN;
- Experience of managing and supporting a large network environment with multiple WAN technologies.
- Understanding of cloud networking (MS Azure preferred).
- Ability to think on your feet, prioritise and perform in a very demanding, high pressure environment.
