An excellent opportunity has arisen to work for our established client in High Wycombe as an Administrator. You will perform a wide range of administrative, logistical and organisational duties of a responsible and confidential nature.

  • Location: High Wycombe
  • Job type: Permanent
  • Working Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Salary: up to £24k depending on experience
  • Benefits: 22 days holiday, plus bank holidays, increases by 1 day after 5 years' service, up to a maximum of 25 days, complimentary "Never work your birthday", pension, free parking

As the Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in the general administration function of the department
  • Transfer & direct calls to other departments ensuring the details of caller are taken when passing calls through.
  • Allocate engineer call outs
  • Diary management for the company engineers
  • Liaise directly with colleagues to ensure calls are responded to within the time frame specified
  • Liaise with clients to keep them informed of progress
  • Keep the internal database updated with any customers details
  • Ensure emails are read and prioritised accordingly and take action where necessary
  • Chase purchase orders and amend as necessary
  • Take messages from customers regarding positive feedback
  • Produce effective reports and correspondence as required
  • Ensure own workload is organised, prioritised and thoroughly planned.

The successful Administrator will have the following related skills / experience:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Assertive with a professional approach to all aspects of work
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office package
  • Able to influence and make balanced decisions under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to team environments
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • Able to prioritise tasks.
  • Flexible working attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Manage workload effectively under pressure, ensuring deadlines are always met.
