Salary: £25,000- 29,000 dependent on experience

I am delighted to be supporting an award-winning Architectural practice who are specialists in the residential sector as well as doing some commercial and industrial projects. Their projects cover new builds, renovations, heritage buildings and many more for a Part Two Architectural Assistant to gain experience across the RIBA stages. This RIBA Chartered practice offer excellent training an progression within their collaborative close knit team. They have cultivated strong working relationships with long standing clients and regularly exceed their clients expectations with their innovative, beautifully crafted designs. They are seeking a passionate Part Two Architectural Assistant to join their friendly team in Gateshead.

The successful Part Two Architectural Assistant will have 2 years of experience in an Architectural practice with good skills using AutoCAD, Sketch Up and other industry standard software and boast a keen eye for details and creative flare.

Skills, experience and responsibilities for the role of Part Two Architectural Assistant:

  • RIBA Part one and Two qualifications
  • 2 years of post-qualification experience working in a UK Architectural Practice
  • Well versed in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Escape and the Adobe Suite
  • Knowledge of planning and building regulations
  • Ideally experience working on residential projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Boast creativity and design flare
  • Liaise confidently with clients and other professionals
  • Keen to input to company growth
  • Motivated to continue own professional development
  • Work well within a team and independently
  • Produce highly quality drawings
  • Work across all project stages
  • Meet deadlines
  • Consistent with producing a high-quality level of work
  • Live locally to Newcastle and surrounding area
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • String problem solving abilities
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Full clean UK driving licence and access to a car
