Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking to join a growing business with experience of analysing and presenting key financial data?
As market leaders in their field the business is part of a global group going through a considerable period of growth. You will be a fully qualified accountant preparing management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns as well as overseeing accounting procedures and reconciliations and other associated duties.
Working full time on-site in their multi - million pound offices in Stevenage this role is perfect if you are looking for career progression and eager to join a fast paced team in a vibrant and supportive business. This role is initially a Fixed Term Contract for 6 months.
What will you do as a Management Accountant?
- Gather and analyse financial information for internal use
- Preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assume responsibility of accounting procedures
- Produce VAT returns and HMRC reconciliations
- Maintain the fixed assets register including capitalisation of assets, disposals, and new projects
What will you need as a Management Accountant?
- Proven experience as management accountant
- Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of reporting
- Working knowledge of financial software and MS Office
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A problem-solver with attention to detail
