Are you an organised, customer-focused professional looking to make an impact in a lively and fast-paced environment? We're seeking a proactive Hire Desk Controller to be the backbone of our operations, ensuring seamless coordination and exceptional service.

Position Overview:

As Hire Desk Controller you will be working closely with Sales Managers and Operations team to ensure all necessary paperwork is received and processed accurately, attention to detail is a must.

Key responsibilities, this will include, but is unlikely to be limited to:

  • Creating rental agreements and supporting documentation
  • Uploading of hire and sales documents to SharePoint
  • Ensure all on/off hire orders are taken in detail and processed correctly. - input into IT hire system
  • Dealing with queries
  • Follow company policies and procedures relating to hire desk processes
  • Ensure relevant spreadsheets and SharePoint are updated daily/weekly and any concerns are brought to the attention of Hire Desk Manager
  • Answer incoming calls and deal with enquires efficiently in a timely manner
  • Liaise with fleet department regarding availability and progress of existing orders
  • Secure driver training bookings
  • Ensuring customer insurance policies are valid for the duration of hire

The successful Hire Desk Controller will hold:

  • Previous experience in the hire industry is desired but not essential.
  • Confident with IT packages, including SharePoint
  • Good communications skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent Organisation skills and an ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Great team player who can also work well on their own
