We are seeking a dedicated First Aid Lecturer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment for First Aid courses. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on student outcomes and contribute to the development of our curriculum.

Day to Day of the Role of a First Aid Trainer:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in First Aid.
  • Ensure positive student outcomes and meet academic performance targets.
  • Contribute to the development of the First Aid curriculum, incorporating national best practices.
  • Administer courses, contribute to marketing initiatives, and uphold College policies.
  • Engage in quality assurance procedures, including assessment and internal verification.
  • Provide support to unemployed adult learners, helping to remove barriers to training.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the First aid role :

  • Recognised teachign qualification e.g PGCE, AET, DET, Cert Ed ect.
  • Relevant English/Literacy qualifications, to level 2 or equivillant
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Recent experience in utilizing ICT in the workplace and teaching basic IT skills.
  • A team player with effective tutorial skills and the ability to work with limited direction.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering First Aid courses.
  • Commitment to learning and development with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
