Day to Day of the Role of a First Aid Trainer:
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in First Aid.
- Ensure positive student outcomes and meet academic performance targets.
- Contribute to the development of the First Aid curriculum, incorporating national best practices.
- Administer courses, contribute to marketing initiatives, and uphold College policies.
- Engage in quality assurance procedures, including assessment and internal verification.
- Provide support to unemployed adult learners, helping to remove barriers to training.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the First aid role :
- Recognised teachign qualification e.g PGCE, AET, DET, Cert Ed ect.
- Relevant English/Literacy qualifications, to level 2 or equivillant
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Recent experience in utilizing ICT in the workplace and teaching basic IT skills.
- A team player with effective tutorial skills and the ability to work with limited direction.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering First Aid courses.
- Commitment to learning and development with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
