Location: North Hertfordshire Hybrid 2 days WFH 3 days office based

Contract Type: 6 Month FTC

Salary: Depending on Experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the business on a 6-month FTC and support the collections department with process mapping, procedure writing and ad hoc tasks relating to the collections and recoveries improvement plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Ops & Collections in developing and documenting a full suite of process maps and procedures for the department
  • Join/run workshops, listen to how business processes are described and document them into clear process and procedures
  • Create detailed maps of existing business processes to establish a clear understanding of current workflows.
  • Document processes comprehensively, capturing all steps, variations, and interdependencies.
  • Analyse existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement.
  • Supporting a full review of communication within the Department, liaising with Marketing and Compliance.
  • Support with administration requirements to evidence compliance and delivery of internal and external audit reviews and wider regulatory obligations

Experience required:

  • Experience as a business analyst within any sector, but financial services experience is advantageous
  • Experience documenting business requirements, running workshops and designing process maps
  • Visio experience
  • Methodical approach to planning and organising
  • Self-driven and self-reliant - possesses an active dynamic approach to work and getting things done.
