Head of Biofertiliser

To provide detailed support and assistance to the Compliance & Agri Director ensuring the Day-to-Day activities of safe, fully compliant and cost effective Digestate and Management are in place for all operational sites, playing a lead in ensuring the agreed spreading activities are fully complied with.

Head of Biofertiliser Responsibilities:

The Head of Biofertiliser will be a highly motivated and technically competent leader, committed to upholding the highest standards of health and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong agricultural knowledge, with a detailed understanding of crop nutrition and soil science. A working awareness of The Reduction and Prevention of Agricultural Diffuse Pollution (England) Regulations, Nitrogen Pollution Prevention Regulations, NVZs, and DEFRA's Code of Good Practice is essential, alongside familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards. Preferred qualifications include FACTS and BASIS certifications, as well as experience with Gatekeeper and Manner NPK software.

While prior experience in pumping and mixing solutions, including design and calculation, is desirable, it is not essential. The role requires excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills, with the ability to analyse problems, assess risks, and develop effective solutions.

The successful candidate will be a flexible, team-oriented professional who thrives on challenge and is focused on delivering continuous improvement across all levels of the organisation.

This role requires regular nationwide travel as the company operates multiple sites, attendance will be required at Head Office and across the company's national network of AD.
