This role has a starting salary of £24,275 per annum, based on a 36-hour working week. This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.
We are excited to be hiring two new Outdoor Learning Instructors in an academy role, to join our dynamic Outdoor Learning team at Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development.
Our centres are:
High Ashurst, Mickleham Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6DQ
Henley Fort, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 4RH
Thames Young Mariners, Ham, Richmond, Surrey, TW10 7RX
Our Outdoor Learning Instructors work across all of SOLD's provision with a primary base at one our centres.

About the Team
At Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD), we offer our visitors carefully facilitated bespoke programmes in the outdoors, creating positive learning outcomes and experiences. We strive for high quality in everything we do, including health and safety matters, our customer experience, our facilities, our range of services and our staff.
About the Role
Our Outdoor Learning Instructor (Academy) role is perfect for individuals new to the outdoor learning industry. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, is able to build rapport, empathise with others and be confident to lead groups in an outdoor setting. In return we will provide an excellent training package and support, which will grow and develop skills, knowledge and tools in this role. As part of our delivery team, our academy staff will be quickly delivering quality sessions in a number of outdoor activities with the opportunity to obtain nationally recognised qualifications.
