A bit about the job:

Our new colleague will play a key role in the proactive and efficient management of Home Major Loss Claims (up to £250k), while providing vital administrative support to our Major Loss Field teams. This position emphasizes proactive claim handling and team support throughout the claim lifecycle, ensuring key milestones are met, delivering excellent customer outcomes, shortening claim lifecycles, and optimizing indemnity spend. Your responsibilities will include managing a variety of administrative tasks, such as arranging on-site meetings with customers and third parties, handling phone calls from the team and customers, updating claim files, arranging payments within the team's authority, assisting with emails, and providing general IT support (using Microsoft Word/Excel).

Skills and experience we're looking for:

  • Skilled in planning, prioritizing, managing time, and organizing personal workload and priorities.
  • Proficient in identifying and solving problems with experience in handling complaints.
  • Experienced in managing property claims at the notification stage.
  • Capable of meeting customer needs effectively.
  • Strong relationship management skills and comfortable communicating with stakeholders at various levels, both internal and external.
