The role sits within the newly created CIO function for Sustainability Technology in Deutsche Bank in TDI. The role will report to head of ESG Data Management and the candidate will be responsible for managing all new ESG data demand for internal DB stakeholders to support the delivery of the banks Sustainability Strategy

Your key responsibilities

  • ESG Data new Demand Management
  • Managing team of ESG data analysts and prioritizing work for team
  • Responsible for working with internal stakeholders across the bank to identify ESG data requirements to support ESG initiatives including regulatory reporting and risk management
  • Working with stakeholders in risk finance treasury and other areas to identify ESG requirements
  • Understanding new regulatory requirements and impact on ESG data sourcing
  • Assessment of external ESG vendor offerings for new ESG data requirements

Your skills and experience

  • University degree, ideally in Finance or Economics or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience ideally in financial services or consulting experience working with large institutions on ESG and Data Management projects
  • ESG experience would be preferred but is not essential covering Sustainable Finance , Regulatory Reporting and Risk management on Physical Risk including corporate sustainability topics
  • Strong Presentation and Senior Stakeholder management able to present complex topics to multiple levels within the organisation
  • Strong interest in ESG topics and a willingness to understand how TDI can support bank's sustainability objectives
  • Experience of managing and leading teams
