Position: Full-Time Teacher
Location: South Sheffield
Start Date: September 2024
End Date: July 2025

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our outstanding primary school in South Sheffield. This is a full-time, fixed-term position starting in September 2024 and concluding in July 2025. You will be working with a mixed Year 1/2 class, providing high-quality education and support to our diverse group of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to a mixed Year 1/2 class.
  • Support SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) students, ensuring they receive tailored assistance to thrive in their educational journey.
  • Conduct phonics interventions within a breakout space to support early literacy development.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and implementing strategies to support individual growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: TA (Teaching Assistant) qualification at Level 2 or above.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with primary school students, particularly in supporting SEND students and delivering phonics interventions, is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
