Corporate Solicitor / Partner

We are looking for a Corporate Solicitor or Partner with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing corporate deals and projects, contributing to the profitability and growth of the team, and demonstrating the ambition to become a Partner or to enhance their role within the partnership.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Manage and oversee the conduct and completion of corporate deals and projects from inception to conclusion.
- Generate fee income from existing clients, referrers, and personal contacts.
- Actively participate in business development opportunities for the team and firm.
- Provide supervision and support for colleagues' fee-earning work, especially during absences.
- Engage in marketing activities and uphold the firm's standards for client care.
- Manage correspondence and documents through the case management system.
- Handle the management of client files, including opening, closing, storage, and retrieval, in accordance with office procedures.
- Attend and participate in group meetings and develop new work from existing clients while seeking new clients.
- Maintain a network of contacts and referrers and promote the firm professionally and personally.
- Utilize IT and telephone skills appropriate for modern legal practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years PQE in corporate law.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficient in case management systems and standard office applications.
- Committed to the firm's mission statement and core values, and able to work collaboratively within the team.
- Efficient, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
