This company are a global developer of utility scale Solar projects who also provide specialist operations and maintenance services to solar farms across the UK, America and Europe. Their portfolio has continued to grow and is expecting to consistently expand over the coming years, requiring highly qualified individuals to continue providing an industry leading service.
In this role you will remotely monitor solar farms through multiple platforms, understanding their performance and raising any issues. You will work closely with the O&M and asset management divisions of the business to support and drive continuous improvement with the development of new tools to improve efficiency of data analysis and related reporting automations.
The ideal candidate has a technical degree, understanding and analysing data in order to create accurate reports. They will have an understanding of the renewable energy sector with a desire to continue their own personal development.

The role:
- Remote monitoring of solar farms
- Understanding the performance of solar farms
- Creating reports using multiple programmes and platforms
- Cooperating with the O&M and Asset Management teams to target performance
The person:
- Technical degree is required, engineering, math, physics or similar discipline
- Experience in the solar sector is strongly preferred
- Experience in an analytical role in industry
- Technical understanding of electrical/mechanical works
- Excellent ability to use Microsoft excel and other computer programmes - essential
