Job Title: Paint Sprayer
Location: Cheltenham
Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £26,000 to £32,000 per year
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, with an early finish at 12:30 PM on Fridays

Responsibilities:
As a Paint Sprayer, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring the highest standards of paint application on components. Your responsibilities will include:
- Following technical paint instructions/processes meticulously
- Meeting production targets consistently
- Applying prime finish and top finish coatings proficiently
- Efficiently loading/unloading components
- Performing associated paint/processing functions/processes diligently
- Demonstrating initiative in problem-solving
- Reporting unresolved issues promptly to the line manager
- Sharing technical knowledge with team members
- Participating in external audits (e.g., Nadcap, BSI, customers) and internal process improvement programmes
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and documents accurately
- Familiarity with AS9100/Nadcap standards
- Knowledge of first-off inspection procedures
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Spraying skills are required, with training provided as necessary; attention to detail is crucial
- Adhering strictly to production, safety, and quality procedures
- Completing daily compliance checks meticulously
- Understanding of AS9100 and, where applicable, Nadcap
- Numerical proficiency
- Experience in aerospace/automotive paint spraying with knowledge of paint application procedures
- Ability to work accurately with keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Previous experience in a similar role within the aerospace or automotive industry
- Knowledge of additional coating technologies and applications
Technologies:
Training will be provided as necessary in the organisation's specific coating technologies and application systems.
