If yes, I am recruiting for a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant Primary School to provide one-on-one support for autistic children who thrives on routine and consistency with education and training.

Position: Teaching Assistant Primary School

Location: North London

Industry: Education and Training

Type: Long Term Role, 5 days a week, 8:30AM - 4:00PM

Daily Rate: £85 - £100 per day - Teaching Assistant Primary School - North London

Role Overview - North London:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with wonderful children on the autism spectrum, helping them navigate their educational and social journey with structure and care.

Key Responsibilities - Teaching Assistant Primary School:

Provide one-on-one assistance tailored to the needs, focusing on routines and consistent strategies.

Help establish and maintain daily routines to provide stability and predictability for the children.

Assist in the development of essential skills, including communication, social interactions, and academic tasks.

Work closely with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure a cohesive support strategy with education and training.

Foster a positive and nurturing environment that supports the child's development and well-being.

Qualifications:

Prior experience working with autistic children or in a similar role is preferred.

Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders, excellent communication, and patience.

Empathetic, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality, individualized support.
