FTC until the end of December - Accounts Payable Assistant
An Accounts Payable Assistant is needed to join a luxury retail company based in South London. The role is hybrid working 3 days per week in the office and the role has great benefits.
The Accounts Payable Assistant will be resposible for:
- Processing accounts payable invoices and ensuring they are matched against purchase orders.
- Ensuring all invoices are appropriately authorised.
- Posting of accounts payable related cash payments.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Dealing with invoice queries, ensuring these are dealt with promptly and liaising with other departments and suppliers as necessary, escalating issues where necessary.
- Setting up new vendors in the accounting system.
- Dealing with company staff expenses processing and payment.
- Maintaining the finance mailbox
The Accounts Payable Assistant will:
- Have experience processing high volume invoices (essential)
- Have retail industry experience (ideal)
- Have strong Accounts Payable experience
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
