Robert Half is recruiting for an Interim Systems Accountant position for one of our clients based in North East Cambridge
This is a full time position, to start as soon as possible and requires someone who can be on site 4 days a week.
This role can pay in the region of £50,000.
Main Duties:
- Focus on data and systems
- Drive consistency and standardisation to reporting
- Use of Cognos to drive consistency and standardisation into product KPIs
- Build consistency in internal reporting
- Support issue resolution process
- Support with the reconciliation between returns data to the trial balance and develop COGNOS reporting to monitor
- Assist in the implementation of automated processes into the ERP system
- Coordinate and support sales and profit forecasting
- Coordinate and support with budget preparation
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of budgets/forecasts in COGNOS
- Assist with group reporting requirements and the implementation of new reporting timetables, including the developments planned in COGNOS.
- Support in the completion of returns documentation and process mapping
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects as required
Attributes:
- Experienced accountant with a bias towards data and systems
- Problem solving mindset
- Experience working with big reporting systems such as COGNOS or similar and familiarity with Data Warehouses
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
- Stakeholder management
