Compliance, Medical and Education Visits Officer

Location: Camberley

Contract: Permanent, 36 hours a week (8am-4pm) over 39 weeks

Salary: PS5-PS6 £23036-£25548 (£26,777-£29697 FTE)

This outstanding school are looking for someone to join their team in this exciting new, multipurpose role, starting asap. The Key purposes for this role include:

  • To ensure the efficient Operation and administration of the school's health & safetypolicy and procedure
  • To monitor compliance with statutory & legislative health & safety requirements
  • To act as primary first aider
  • To ensure the efficient Operation and administration of the school's health & safety policy and procedures Medical Needs Policy
  • Monitor and promote compliance with the schools data protection,freedon of information and subject access request policies
  • Advise staff on data protection and information requests.
  • Develop and implement the School's Education Visits Policy
  • Support staff in the planning and organisation of education trips and visits

Specification

  • Minimum of C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English at least
  • Educational Visits Coordinator Training (can be provided)
  • First Aid Training including Asthma and Epipen (can be provided)
  • Ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff
  • Ability to demonstrate active listening skills
  • Ability to manage your own workload
  • Ability to work effectively and supportively as a member of the school team
  • Ability to work within and apply all school policies
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Confident in the use of IT
  • Experience working in busy administative environments
  • Good knowledge of general Health and Safety requirements
  • Good knowledge and awareness of Data Protection laws
  • First Aid experience would be beneficial
