A large, growing, private sector organisation, based in Guildford, are looking to recruit an IT Support Manager to support the on-prem services and get involved in hands-on hardware/software support. This is a permanent role with a requirement to be in the office 5 days a week in Guildford.
The Role
As the IT Support Manager, you will be ensuring that the IT support functions professionally and provides quality service that meets the needs of the organisation. Your role would report into the IT Manager.
Daily responsibilities would include supporting the overall infrastructure, projects and to drive technological advancements through a best practice Service Framework, continuously reviewing and improving processes across the business.
Overall, the IT Support Manager position requires the day-to-day management of a junior member of the team An individual with a friendly personality and ability to communicate effectively across teams would be an asset.
