ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Team Leader at a Barchester independent mental health hospital, you'll use your leadership skills to provide the quality, person-centred care and support we're known for. We'll look to you to supervise and motivate your multidisciplinary team to provide care and support to patients with complex and sometimes challenging behaviours. Across everything you do, you'll be focused on our patients' dignity and respect. You'll be a role model for your team and someone our patients and their families can trust to provide a safe, secure and happy environment. We'll rely on you to make sure your team fully complies with NMC guidance for medication administration and follows all clinical policies to guarantee the safe ordering, custody, storing, disposal, recording and administration of medication. As Team Leader at Barchester, you can enjoy the freedom and autonomy you need to make a real difference.

ABOUT YOU
To join as a Team Leader, you'll need to be an ambitious Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse) with a current NMC registration and a mentoring or supervision qualification. We'll also want to see an up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Code of Practice as you'll support individuals who have been admitted under the Mental Health Act, and their families. You should also have experience of producing well-developed care plans, undertaking risk assessments and working as part of a clinical team. Most importantly, you'll be compassionate yet robust, and dedicated to making sure our patients receive the quality care they deserve.

If you'd like to use your clinical and people skills in an organisation that provides the quality care you'd expect for your loved one, this is a rewarding and empowering place to be.
