Meraki Talent is partnered with a leading legal firm to appoint an experienced paralegal to their Real Estate team.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering an excellent salary and a hybrid working model.

The Real Estate Paralegal will support the real estate team in all aspects of transactional real estate work, including the acquisition, development, financing, leasing, and disposition of various types of real estate. This role requires a detail-oriented and organised individual with strong communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and submission of documents for real estate closings, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and deadlines.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in real estate transactions.
  • Draft closing documents such as deeds, affidavits, settlement statements, and closing disclosures.
  • Assist in the formation and maintenance of entities related to real estate holdings, including drafting operating agreements and resolutions.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date case files, including electronic records in the document management system.
  • Assist with post-closing matters, including finalizing documents, updating records, and resolving any outstanding issues.

Qualifications:

  • An academic background with a degree in Law or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a real estate paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Strong understanding of real estate terminology, legal documents, and the closing process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of state and local real estate laws and regulations is a plus.
