Arthur is partnering with a Global Insurer to hire an Underwriting Support Team Leader to join their team in London.
This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the various business lines within the Underwriting team, whilst at the same time undertaking transformation activities to broaden, and better control the services provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the team, fostering a service-driven culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Monitor team performance, set clear goals, and provide feedback to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
- Identify training needs, provide development opportunities, and complete necessary training to strengthen underwriting support.
- Manage the collection, validation, and entry of policy data into relevant systems.
- Ensure accurate preparation and maintenance of policy documentation using platforms such as ImageRight, Guidewire, and pricing tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and Outsourced providers to ensure smooth operations and meet KPIs for processing speed and quality.
- Address queries and follow up on missing information to guarantee effective service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and support audit processes.
- Contribute accurate data for operational management dashboards.
- Identify areas for improvement and participate in testing and transformation initiatives.
Candidates are required to have previous management experience and a strong working knowledge of insurance underwriting systems.
