Description
- Accurately process financial transactions in line with company procedures.
- Processing monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of month end management accounts
- Maintaining purchase and sales ledger
- Ensure sales and purchase invoicing is up to date and payments are reviewed and made on a timely basis.
- Contribute to the development of new financial systems and processes.
- Collaborate with the rest of the accounting team
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Gained relevant experience in transactional finance position or degree in Finance and Accounting
- Have strong motivation to succeed and progress
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organisational skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Job Offer
- An annual salary in the region of £25,000 - £28,000.
- Study support available after probation.
