Description
A successful Assistant Management Accountant will have the following duties:
- Assist the senior management team and department managers with the preparation of various reports including preparing budgets, records, and statements
- Posting accruals and prepayment
- Pension management - submission
- Review fixed assets - depreciation, additions / disposals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Supporting the delivery of variance analysis to budget
- Maintaining the fixed asset register
- Supporting Ad-hoc projects, as well as always looking to improve processes and controls.
Profile
- Strong attention to detail
- Someone that enjoys working with data and enjoys analysis
- Have an understanding of management accounts
- Someone that has begun their studies already towards CIMA/ACCA ideally
- Someone that works in initiative
