Gardener – Estates Operative in Coventry
Reed Coventry are working closely with a Housing Association to appoint an experienced Gardener / Estates Operative to join during a busy period. This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK's most trusted Social Housing providers.
Responsibilities

- Tree management
- Managing green infrastructure within Social Housing communities
- Landscape management
To apply for this role, you must have the following:
- NVQ Level 2 Minimum in relevant field is desirable
- Ability to drive with a trailer
- Must be numerate and literate
- Knowledge and experience Grounds Maintenance, Gardening, Landscaping and Maintenance
- Be comfortable to work around residents (must be professional at all times)
- Past experience of working in Social Housing
- High level of customer service
- Knowledge of Health & Safety including lifting safely; working at heights and the use of PPE
- Able to use digital devices
- Able to use electronic and ride-on gardening equipment
- Current and clean UK Driving License
- Ability to work flexible hours
- PA1, PA6 and banksman experience is desirable
- Basic DBS – application will be completed by our Client
You will be working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) on a temporary on going basis.
You can be expected to be paid £11.44 - £14.00 per hour depending on experience (Umbrella only)
A vehicle will be provided for work use only.
