Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D CAD and a passion for creating precise, high-quality engineering designs and drawings. This role will also involve providing critical support to our business and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Design:
- Develop innovative and practical engineering solutions using 3D CAD software
- Create detailed 3D models and assemblies to support product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and client requirements.
Engineering Drawings:
- Produce accurate and comprehensive engineering drawings and documentation.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Perform design reviews and validations to maintain the highest quality of work.
Business & Manufacturing Support:
- Assist the manufacturing team with technical expertise during the production process.
- Provide engineering support to resolve any design-related issues that arise.
- Collaborate with the business team to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Qualification in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in engineering design with a focus on 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Experience with project management and an understanding of business processes is a plus.
