My client, a Healthcare Organisation, are looking for a Software Developer on a permanent basis.

This position is FULLY REMOTE and paying upto £50,000 DOE

Below is the detail of the role

As Software Developer, your main focus will be on the development and enhancement of our software solutions, including C#/.NET applications, web APIs, and SQL reports

Position Summary: Software Developer (C#/.NET)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Software Development:

  • Develop and maintain C#/.NET web applications and APIs.

  • Enhance and manage existing code, including clinical data capture forms.

  • Design and maintain T-SQL data reports; troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.

  • Support and Maintenance:

  • Provide second-line support and develop fixes for software bugs.

  • Conduct routine database maintenance.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Review and test new software features against specifications.

  • Configure products per customer requirements.

  • Deployment and Configuration:

  • Securely deploy product updates remotely.

  • Configure products as specified.

  • Documentation:

  • Maintain technical service documentation and contribute to the knowledge base.

  • Agile Development:

  • Participate in the Sprint process and update progress in Jira.

  • Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary agile team.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with UX/UI, QA, DevOps, and support teams.

  • Communicate project updates and challenges to the Lead Software Developer.

Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Stong knowledge in C#, SQL, T-SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, MVC, and more.
  • Working experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., GIT).

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Typescript, KnockoutJS, healthcare standards (e.g., HL7), and integration frameworks (e.g., FHIR).
  • Experience with mobile app development and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience of unit testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).
