Experienced payroller required to join a busy and established finance team.
This is a stand-alone payroll postion where you will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Process weekly, payroll using IRIS KashFlow.
- Ensure the payroll is accurate and completed on time.
- Handle payroll queries from clients and employees in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, tax information, and deductions.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and company policies.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of year-end returns, including P60s and P11Ds.
- Liaise with HMRC and other relevant bodies as required.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroller or in a similar payroll processing role.
- Proficiency in using IRIS KashFlow software is essential.
- Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation, including SSP, SMP, Tax, NI, and RTI auto-enrolment.
- Strong understanding of payroll procedures, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Relevant payroll qualifications or certifications are a plus.
