Packaging Engineer - Warrington (Hybrid) - £45,000

As they continue to expand, we are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Packaging Engineer to join their team in this brand new role. This role is crucial in ensuring their packaging not only meets regulatory requirements but also maintains their high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
As a Packaging Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their packaging solutions meet the stringent requirements of regulatory bodies, customer needs, and functional specifications. You will lead packaging projects from concept to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and compliant packaging solutions that protect and preserve their products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Identify, develop, and design packaging solutions that meet the needs of regulatory bodies, ensuring all packaging complies with relevant legal standards and requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Design team and other teams to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and regulatory guidelines.
- Research and Innovation: Conduct thorough research on materials and industry trends to develop cutting-edge packaging solutions that meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate creativity and meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of packaging design, including structural integrity and graphic elements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure packaging guidelines are adhered to and that print production is consistent with brand requirements.
- Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and factories to oversee the production process, ensuring all packaging meets quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- You must have retail packaging legal experience
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in packaging design and engineering, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from concept to completion.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
