NJR Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity on behalf an award-winning and independent Chartered Insurance Broker located on the outskirts of Bolton. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scheme Manager to lead their specialist scheme insurance team.
Our client is renowned for providing exceptional customer care in the insurance sector. The scheme has been grown to be highly successful and supports specific clients across the country with their insurance and risk management needs, ensuring they have the right coverage to protect their businesses.
As the Scheme Manager, you will lead and develop the scheme team to deliver outstanding service to clients. You will be responsible for managing the scheme's growth and profitability, ensuring high customer service standards, and driving continuous improvement in processes and offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, manage, and motivate team members to achieve personal and company goals. Inspire continuous learning and growth within the team.
- Oversee scheme productivity, lead generation, new business sales, and renewal retention. Implement and manage changes to scheme products and operations, ensuring alignment with underwriting objectives.
- Ensure high levels of customer service and continually seek ways to improve service delivery.
- Develop and manage customer documentation, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency. Ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including insurers and suppliers.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in the commercial insurance sector with leadership experience.
- Strong technical insurance knowledge and experience from an insurance company background would be ideal, however a technically strong broker will also be of interest.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Good skills and experience with policy wordings and performance management.
