Marketing Manager

Our client is a brand strategy & activation agency and they are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the company's content marketing capability and will help create a marketing strategy that will drive inbound leads and builds awareness of their key offers to clients and prospects.

Working alongside client-facing teams the candidate will write and/or identify writers who can deliver digital, product marketing, brand, and advertising copy. They will be expected to work with the content capability within the publishing team, so that they can make use of the specialist skills residing there.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days a week in the office.

Duties

  • Work collaboratively with Offer Leads across the agency to ensure the USP for each offer is clear.
  • Work with the Director for Sales & Marketing to oversee implementation of marketing, PR activity, social media presence and online presence.
  • Be responsible for creating content marketing and its successful implementation.
  • Use market data to develop content themes/topics, then execute a plan to create the assets that support a point of view and lead to critical behavioural metrics.
  • Oversee the execution of a variety of content marketing activities - from thought leadership, community marketing, white papers, podcast, video - ensuring quality is high.
  • Report metrics to the Director responsible for Sales & Marketing and compile reports on marketing performance each month to the Board.
  • Use workflows and content management tools.

Requirements

  • An understanding of Hubspot or similar CRM system
  • An understanding of Wordpress or similar web platforms
  • Experience with Google analytics
  • Experience with Yoast or similar SEO platforms
  • A critical creative thinker with awareness of the latest communications methods and trends.
  • Someone who's not afraid to put forward ideas and run with them when they are agreed.
  • A team player who gives feedback to others so that they can provide the best content needed to stand out.
