As an Assistant Management Accountant, in this role you will be working directly with the Finance Manager, who will be helping you progress and take on new tasks. The aim is for you to develop into the Management Accountant position. You will be initially be assisting with the production of management accounts, with the potential to take this responsibility on your own from when you and your manager feel you are comfortable and ready.

Skills Required

  • To have experience working on month end responsibilities, such as posting journals, completing reconciliations and being involved with the production of management accounts.
  • To either be actively studying ACCA or CIMA, or to have previously sat and passed some of these examinations.
  • To have a strong level of communication skills. It is important to be able to communicate in a manner which allows you to really get your point across when interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • To have aspirations to take on new tasks. This is a role where you will be provided with opportunities to grow if you are willing to take on the duties.
