EdEx are searching for an enthusiastic graduate with a genuine passion for working with children. You will need to be inclusive and inspiring to the students, as well as supporting the students to reach their full potential.
Their mission is to ensure that all children have the ability to attend university, and to ensure they all have their three values at the forefront of their minds 'Explore, Endeavour and Excel'. We are looking for multiple candidates who can be a positive role model to the pupils, to be happy to contribute to the success of the exciting new learning community as well as be an all round team player.
Your main role will be to support the students with their academics however also be their emotional support when needed. You will be completing 1:1's and group interventions with the students to help cement the curriculums.
About the Educational Support Assistant role:
- Educational Support Assistant
- To complete workshops 1-2-1 and in groups to those with various SEN needs
- Working with KS3, KS4 and KS5 students to help their learning and development
- Tailoring your approach based on each students needs
- To use creative and imaginative methods to help support students in their education.
- Start September 2024 - July 2025
- £95 to £105 day rate Monday to Friday.
- Long term full time - till the end of the academic year
- Located in Ealing
Educational Support Assistant candidate specification:
- Previous experience working with children
- Confident and enthusiastic personality
- Graduate with a 1st class or 2:1
- Strong and flexible communication skills
- A genuine passion for teaching and learning
